Position Summary

As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skills in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Resources, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally, it works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision-making process.

Specific Job Summary

A front-line marketing representative responsible for selling return site packages to qualified leads, ensuring guest satisfaction during their stay, and generating future tour flow. This role is key in capturing future leads for the sales pipeline and maintaining high closing percentages through excellent customer service and strategic engagement.

Expected Contributions

  • Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.
  • Responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk.
  • Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.
  • Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
    • identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.
    • providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution.
    • participating in setting department operating plans.
    • recognizing and celebrating team successes.
    • achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Positively represent the Company at any location assigned. Maintain a collaborative working relationship with hotel and any other third-party company employees.
  • Provide concierge services to all resort guests and members in keeping, maintaining the “service first, product second” approach.
  • Deliver accurate tourist information and inspire confidence through professionalism.
  • Inspire confidence in the Company through professionalism.
  • Determine guests' eligibility for promotional, gifted presentations, according to the standards described in training.
  • Attract eligible guests to preview the Company vacation club program using Departure gift or service
  • Full inform and confirm every guest about the sales presentation, according to the standards described in training.
  • Create curiosity about the vacation club and encourage guests to tour with an open mind.
  • Capture of the future leads to building strong guest relationships and identifying interest for future visits.
  • Complete the administrative work behind booking and confirm each sales presentation.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Marketing Supervisor.

Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Resources). College degree and/or relevant experience are typically required.

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency required.
