POSITION: STOREROOM AND SHOP ATTENDANT
DEPARTMENT: FOOD & BEVERAGE

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist guests with store purchase and any specific request for services or information. Strive to make sure that all guest leave satisfied
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Food & Beverage ManagerSupervises: N/A
Interfaces: Customers, suppliers, Heads of Departments, MVCI Associates
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Retail sales and cash handling experience.
- Ability to interact with guests and associates.
- Possession of “Carnet de Manipuladores de Alimentos”
- Be a good team player and be flexible.
- Working knowledge of English and Spanish.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Re-stock store accordingly.
- Greet all customers as they enter the store and offer any assistance immediately.
- Operate cash register and follow all banking procedures set forth by the company.
- Assist in all store operations. Maintain a working knowledge of store equipment.
- Follow safe working practices and conditions within the department.
- Maintain positive public relations and a pleasant attitude with all guests and associates.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area and store at all times.
- Assist in store inventories.
- Responsible for shipment/invoice verification, merchandise, pricing, stoking and assist in inventory control.
- Have knowledge of all activities in the resort.
- Be knowledgeable of C-7 sheet and spillage sheet.
- Comply with 39 point Checklist
- Receive training along his training process of the following knowledge:
- Inventories & Cost control.
- Maximization of profit by follow up on providers, products & offers.
- Knowledge of all internal procedures.
- Accrual and Account payable process.
- Brand Standard audit.
- Health & Safety audit.
- Timesheets, rota and holidays .
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide assistance to all departments if staffing levels require.
- To perform all reasonable tasks as required by Resort Management and business demands.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent bending, kneeling and stooping, lifting up to 30kg, climbing ladders and up to 5 floors of stairs
- Good visual observation.
- Resistance to inclement weather conditions (heat and humidity)
- Walking and working outside of air controlled areas.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all time.
- Male staff members should be well shaved and have their hair well trimmed. Mustache is permitted if kept neat and trimmed.
- Jewelry other than wedding ring and watch is not permitted. Women are authorized to wear earring drops.
- Female staff members should at all times have their hair in tide-back if it is longer than shoulder length.
OTHER:
- Be punctual and wear the name tag and uniform at all times during working hours.
- Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
- Comply with MVCI and Marriott International polices and procedures.
- Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work, meeting the needs of the team and the business at all times.
- Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates. Respond sensitively to the needs and feelings of others, regardless of status or position; accept interpersonal differences and maintain a constructive rapport with all associates and customers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Marriott product lines.
- Maintain computer systems knowledge (MS Office, e-mail etc)
- Work with all MVCI colleagues as a team, supporting the needs within that team and those of the business at all times.
