Position Summary  

Reporting to the Director, Procurement Analytics, this position will support the development and operationalization of procurement technology as it relates to end-to-end integration of the Procurement function into MVW’s organization. A successful contributor in this role will possess excellent relationship-building skills, ability to influence, and be able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding environment. 

We are seeking a Senior Manager to support the implementation of our Procurement Technology Framework and Strategic Initiatives. This role will serve as our procurement technology expert, overseeing the execution of the framework with the goal of enhancing procurement competencies across the organization. The Senior Manager will work closely with diverse teams to define and execute procurement initiatives that align with our business objectives and drive innovation. 

About the Team: The Procurement Analytics and Technology team, within the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) is at the forefront of shaping our organization's procurement-driven future. We drive the development and execution of the enterprise procurement analytics and technology strategy, empowering our organization to harness the power of procurement technology to drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and achieve strategic objectives. 

Expected Contributions  

Implement and support the procurement technology framework, including S2P (source to pay) platforms, procurement management, procurement quality, and procurement analytics. 

Establish metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of procurement initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Identify gaps and develop strategies for remediation. 

Support cross-functional teams on procurement-related projects and initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements. Build relationships and partnerships to drive collaboration and alignment on procurement initiatives. 

Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in procurement management, analytics, and artificial intelligence. 

Support change management efforts to enable the adoption of new procurement tools, technologies, and processes. Leverage training materials, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to promote procurement literacy and adoption. 

Foster a culture of procurement-driven decision-making, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization. 

 

Candidate Profile  

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree Sustainability, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 

5+ years of experience in leadership roles focused on procurement technology and analytics, preferably in a large enterprise environment. 

Experience in change management, organizational transformation, and driving cultural change towards procurement-driven decision-making. 

Experience with cloud data and reporting platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI). 

Experience supporting procurement initiatives and driving business value through procurement-driven decision-making. 

  

Skills and Competencies: 

Strong understanding of S2P (source to pay) platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa), procurement management, procurement architecture, and procurement quality principles and practices. 

Strong understanding of technical integrations particularly with S2P platforms. 

Technical Skills: Expertise in Source to Pay (S2P) processes, SRM best practices, and procurement technologies (SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.) including integrations. 

Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong data analysis, process mapping, and problem-solving skills.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment. 

Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and lead cross-functional teams.  Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Project Management: Experience managing process improvement and digital transformation initiatives. 

 

Additional Preferred Experience 

  • Experience in global procurement or shared services environments. Demonstrated experience of technology implementation projects. 

  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. 

  • Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and risk management in supplier engagement.
