Generic Position Summary
The M&S Recruiter supports talent acquisition across multiple countries by focusing on candidate pre-screening, assessment, and the development of effective recruitment channels. This role partners closely with regional HR teams and hiring leaders to build strong talent pipelines and large candidate funnel for regional sites.
Specific Job Summary
Reporting to the M&S Recruitment Manager Thailand, implementation of talent acquisition sales and marketing processes, procedures, and systems in compliance with all relevant employment regulations across international locations. The role supports the determination of region-specific.
The Recruiter will work with the site Human Resources and associates at each location within his/her region to understand and define their staffing requirements and to provide subject matter expertise to develop candidate specifications that will meet business needs as appropriate. The associate keeps up to date with recruiting methods and maintaining good relationships with local Human Resources recruiters, this role will concentrate on all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle.
Specific Expected Contributions
- Support and continuously improve recruitment channels across regions, including job boards, LinkedIn, direct sourcing, and external partners.
- Manage applicant flow in collaboration with HR, ensuring job summary aligns with regional hiring needs.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and assessment (CV review, language or suitability checks) to create high-quality shortlists.
- Proactively source and engage candidates through scouting, direct outreach, and LinkedIn search.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment vendors, job boards, and external partners, including coordination and discussions as required.
- Share shortlisted candidates with regional or local HR teams and hiring managers, supporting a smooth collaboration into the interview scheduling process.
- Support hiring managers with candidate information
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate records, and shared folders; prepare regular activity and pipeline reports.
- Support Talent Acquisition Manager to develop new sourcing channels, support regional recruitment initiatives, and participate in career fairs as needed.
- Provide language support (e.g., Japanese/English translation), market trend update and ad-hoc recruitment support for regional projects.
- Participate in regular regional recruiter meetings and contribute to best practice sharing across regions.
Specific Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related degree
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment from an agency and/or corporate background ideally in a regional, large volume hiring environment or fast-paced environment
- Strong capability in candidate assessment and pre-screening
- Hands-on experience with job boards, LinkedIn sourcing, and recruitment tracking tools.
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple pipelines.
- Fluent in Japanese and business level English skills required
