CORE WORK ACTIVITIES / CRITICAL TASKS

Essential Job Function

  • Assist the Director of Creative Services with creative-related jobs, as required and briefed; ensure awareness and understanding of pending and planned projects.
  • Handle all digital/html/web/multimedia projects, from concept to delivery, as requested and briefed. This includes the accurate proofreading of all assigned projects and the briefing of instructions/changes to vendors.
  • Liaise with external vendors including business partners, programmers, translation agencies, etc.
  • To work closely with The Agency’s web and digital team; making sure our AP digital collateral and standards are aligned with the U.S.
  • To constantly develop new digital ideas to support AP sales and marketing effort.
  • To manage and supervise existing Graphic Designer and new hire proposed for 2026
  • Support and expand Digital Alliance creative effort in AP and/or EME region
  • To support the U.S. Digital Customer Experience Team to oversee and manage all current and future AP and/or EME Marketing website(s) development
  • To support EME Designer with creative digital expansion for the EME region
  • Expand, manage and take lead on the Referral App creative development for AP and subsequently EME region
  • Expand, manage and take lead on the iPad marketing App creative development for AP
  • To take lead in the development of a robust AP digital collateral library for the region stakeholders to search past and newly completed digital projects.  

Administrative Duties

  • Liaise with the Director of Creative Services to establish a network of in-country vendors.
  • Be the point of contact for receiving and processing collateral orders; work closely with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Provide advice and assistance with all artwork, image format and design queries.
  • Partner with the Director of Creative Services to source new high-quality, competitive vendors, as required.
  • Oversee with the management, administration and upkeep of photographic library including the handling of requests; burning of CDs, tracking and follow-up to ensure certain material is returned, as appropriate. This may also include researching, downloading and ordering of images from the website.
  • Gain and maintain a working knowledge of current MVW and MVCI standards and guidelines, existing collateral, statistical information, etc. on an ongoing basis, and distribute relevant information to the onsite team, as appropriate.
  • Assist with any translation processes required, by briefing the translation agencies, issuing job reference numbers, tracking progress, sending translations to assigned proof-readers and ensuring timely and accurate turnaround.
  • Implement changes and co-ordinate the updating of existing artwork.
  • Update, monitor, and manage the in-house artwork library, requesting artwork from vendors where/when necessary.
  • Coordinate various reprints, where required, and once agreed with the Director of Creative Services.
  • Obtain and keep all delivery notes and match them against vendors’ invoices, controlling any discrepancies.
  • Set up effective planning and tracking systems to ensure production/delivery deadlines are met, materials are returned and collateral is distributed correctly.
  • Maintain day-to-day and ongoing administrative duties for the design team.
  • To maintain and build a strong working relationship with The Agency’s web / digital team.

  • Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports), including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc.

  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservation and answer inquiries from guests.

  • Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.



Physical Tasks

  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or other methods.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

  • Maintain knowledge of leading industry software and technologies (Adobe Creative Cloud’s softwares:
    In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, etc.; and Video Making/Editing: Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.
  • Work with all MVCI colleagues as a team, supporting the needs within that team and those of the business at all times.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communication or equivalent.
  • Proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mac OSX.
  • Proficiency in Print Production software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
  • Proficiency in Digital/Web Production software such as Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML HTML, Figma and CSS, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
  • Must have copy writing and proofreading skills.
  • Must have imaging skills (retouching of images).
  • Well-organized, meticulous, keen attention to detail and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Motivated self-starter, resourceful, independent, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic individual with good organizational and communication skills.
