Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Asset Management, the Manager, Asset Management Projects is responsible for executing strategic projects that support Marriott Vacations Worldwide's Asset Management efforts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets.

Expected Contributions

Project Planning and Execution

  • Collaborate directly with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the following key deliverables are met:
  • Analysis and amendment of Foreclosed Inventory Purchase Agreements
  • Review of Developer Owned Asset accruals and anticipated costs
  • Developer CAPEX planning
  • Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

Business Partnership

  • Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to set business priorities and strategies for the overall success of M&S operations.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Address and resolve any inter-departmental issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Support with additional / related projects as agreed with the SVP.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or related field, required.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience in project management and/or Finance & Accounting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of timeshare business preferred.
  • Experience in applying financial theory and business methodology to financial modeling.
