Job Summary


Reporting to the Vice President, Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, the Associate Director, Marketing Data & Analytics is responsible for partnering with Interval’s Global Marketing leadership to manage the data, analytics, segmentation strategy, and insights that enable Interval’s marketing team.  This role will serve as the product owner for analytics capabilities, report delivery, and predictive models that support key business functions across the Global Marketing organization. By collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and others, this role will translate operational needs into scalable, actionable insights and intuitive products that enhance decision-making and increase marketing functional effectiveness and performance. The incumbent will serve as a consultative partner to stakeholders, focusing on delivering clear, actionable insights that enable senior leaders to make informed strategic decisions. Must be able to translate detailed analysis into insights that guide the business forward, all while building trust and fostering collaboration. Additionally, this role will champion a data-driven culture within the global marketing organization, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, and ensuring that analytics solutions align with broader business goals and drive measurable impact.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Manage Interval’s marketing data reporting assessments and roadmap development, including performance reporting, behavioral reporting and execution of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and cognitive/predictive analytics initiatives. 
  • Lead the development of analytics products including performance dashboards, predictive models, lead scoring systems, and campaign optimization tools.
  • Manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and releases using agile methodologies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytics solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable data pipelines.
  • Monitor data quality and implement processes to continuously improve accuracy and usability.
  • Integrate multi-channel data (email, direct mail, telemarketing, website, inbound call center, and other customer touchpoints) to produce unified performance analyses of marketing initiatives, identifying both channel-specific and cross-channel impacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in evaluation and documentation of source-system data structures and logging practices to ensure marketing activities are captured accurately, consistently, and at the right level of granularity for downstream analytics and reporting.
  • Support definition of KPIs and success metrics for marketing analytics products.
  • Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Demonstrated consultative communication skills, including the ability to actively listen to stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver insights in a collaborative, partnership-driven manner.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities, with a proven track record of earning trust and credibility with senior leadership.
  • Proven expertise in extracting meaningful insights from complex data and translating them into clear, actionable narratives that support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing analytics and customer intelligence.
  • Support marketing teams with reporting, analysis, and insights to influence customer segmentation strategy. 
  • Consult with cross-functional partners on data analytics needs and strategies. Generate insights/conclusions and translate them into recommendations and strategies. Presents findings to partners and management.
  • Develop score cards and program recaps to assess and communicate success and lessons learned for marketing initiatives. 
  • Serve as the data steward for Global Marketing and oversee the data cataloging, and lineage processes, along with all other data enablement activities
  • Responsible for leading Advanced Analytics projects and for translating business needs for data science and engineering teams
  • Responsible for vision and execution of report visualization for all customer KPIs and measurement. Includes dashboard development and report automation. 
  • Provide decision support that includes customer response modeling and campaign test analysis. 
  • Sets and manages priorities; works with internal /external resources to align priorities with skillsets to accomplish objectives.
  • Plan for resources required to achieve functional goals in collaboration with cross-functional leaders to manage resources in an efficient manner. 
  • Orchestrate marketing teams to adapt to changing circumstances to collaborate effectively and efficiently push work across the finish line.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred, especially with a focus on analytics, marketing analytics, product management, or strategy.

Experience

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience managing company-wide marketing insights, analytics, and reporting function.   
  • Proven experience delivering analytics solutions for sales, marketing, or customer service functions—ideally in hospitality, travel, or consumer services.
  • Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality preferred.  
  • Experience in a matrixed structured organization preferred.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), SQL, Fabric, Azure, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering analytics products that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience with Power BI, Business Objects, AWS, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Campaign preferred.
